David Houston, President

David Houston brings to Point Compliance Group his extensive knowledge of federal contract administration. His experience includes Federal contract and subcontract administration; understanding and implementing Federal contract clauses and government procurement regulations; review of solicitations for terms and conditions and potential contract compliance issues; and drafting and administering non-disclosure and teaming agreements.

He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy for 10 years where he gained experience in DoD procurement activity as a warranted contracting officer. Mr. Houston also worked for 7 years as a Contracts Administrator with a Federal Government contractor in the communications and security industries. He is a Certified Federal Contracts Manager, having passed the Federal Contracts Manager Examination administered by the National Contract Management Association.

Tomi Bryan, General Counsel

For Tomi, it all starts with ethical leadership. She cannot stress enough its importance as a key value for senior leaders who want a winning organizational culture. She is a visionary thinker with a fascination for laying out the most efficient path to success. Her writing credits include How to Keep the GSA Money your Company Makes: Compliance, Best Practices and Other Useful Tools. Her foundation for government contracting began in 1999 when she served as General Counsel for a Government Contractor with 2 GSA Schedules. She currently teaches compliance n the Wake Forest University School of Law Master Studies in Law program.

Tomi’s credentials include a Ph.D. in Management with a Specialization in Leadership and Organizational Change, a J.D. from Wake Forest University, the Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) designation, an International Certification in Organizational System Dynamics, and a ProSci Change Management Certification.


Tom Suher, Compliance Consultant

Tom has extensive expertise in the fields of federal government contracting and procurement, commercial transactions and corporate compliance. His government legal experience includes the complete cycle of federal government procurement from solicitation to contract negotiation to implementation and the full range of issues that arise under both fixed price and cost plus contracts at the prime and the subcontract tiers.  

His areas of expertise in government contracts compliance include intellectual property and data rights, country of origin requirements and small business qualifications. Tom holds a J.D. and was formerly General Counsel for LGS Innovations, a broad-based government contractor


Linda Rodden, Compliance Consultant

Linda Rodden has a broad range of experience in all aspects of public contract management, negotiations, operations and policy with an emphasis on Federal contracts. She has a proven track record in negotiating and optimizing GSA and Federal contract operations as Director, Public Contracts and Proposals for Dell, one of the largest GSA contract holder in the Federal Supply Schedule program.

Prior to joining Dell she was Vice President of GSA Contracting for Federal Sources Inc., and a consultant for over 15 years, specializing in GSA Schedules. She began her career as a Contracting Officer in the Federal Government at GSA and the Department of Energy.



Judy Johnson, Vice President, Operations

Judy's seasoned training experience includes developing, implementing, and managing a variety of statewide government certification training programs for Louisiana and Florida. She has also designed and delivered customized training for government clients as a corporate manager. Her work has included administrative roles for social services in the criminal justice system and a facility for the developmentally disabled. Currently she volunteers as a facilitator for a community based organization and as leader at her church. In addition she serves on the leadership academy development team at her church, Mount Zion Baptist Church of Greensboro.

Judy has served on the boards of the ASTD Piedmont Triad Chapter and the Guilford Merchants Association (GMA), and as Chair of the GMA Crime Prevention and Public Safety Council.  Judy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education, a Master’s Degree in Social Work, and is a Board Certified Coach.
